Firing pin spring Empty Firing pin spring

I changed out the firing pin spring with a softer spring. Here is the pic of the original spring (left) and new spring (right). I have taken it out to the range once since the change, with positive results. The original spring was not allowing the firing pin to fully punch primers (light primer strikes).
