Since I want one, I thought I'd join. Just picked up the FNP .45 Tac and figured this would be the ticket. Used to own the UMC .45 (converted UPM) but the thing kicked like a mule.

I think you mean UMP? Well I will be shooting one next sunday. I will see if that is the case. Welcome. You will find a lot of info here.

Should have gotten a Glock 21, then you can use KRISS mags. If you live in a normal state then you can have 30 rds in your KRISS mag hehe.

I shot the UMP but while the recoil is a bit more pronounced, it didnt seem that bad.

I have a FNP tact and KRISS CRB. I think its a great 45 pairing. Now just load up on 45 ammo cause it goes fast in the kriss!
