Notice the small pin hole located towards the folding mechanism. I am unsure what the function of that is but it's also present on the alleged copy. Also I find it hard to believe that the dimensions could be so accurate simply based on photos and videos.

I have seen them in stock before and have thought about grabbing one. But it sounds like this guy was either trying to rip us off or show off. Either way he hasn't been back to defend himself and never posted anywhere else I could see. You be the judge.

Am I the only one who thinks that about the "prototype"? Not trying to be a jerk but I don't want to see the community harmed or misinformed either.

Don't know and quite frankly don't care.  I do think the AirSoft version "looks" nicer then what is on my SBR and if it is as durable as my current "real deal" stock, then I will pick one up and give it a try.  The nice thing about the Kriss stock system is if you don't like it then just pull the pin and switch it back.

ETA: Not sure if I am looking at the same "pin hole" you are talking about but if it is then that is the hole for the "roll pin" that holds the push button mechanism together and in place.

If you put another hole in it, you could have the option for doing something like this so that the hook stock doesn't catch on things:
