Is it worth it ! SDP
I have a SDP is it worth getting all the paper work sorted to SBR it? Pros think it will be much more accurate cons is that ATF will have you on a list!

Yes, absolutely. Having the stock on a pistol makes all the difference in the world in terms of accuracy (able to steady weapon much better). The sling method is good but a stock is better. I purchased the SDP and submitted my paperwork to SBR it. After 7 months I received my stamp and it took all of 10 minutes to remove the nub and add the stock. I shoot mine suppressed and love it.
I picked up one of Diamondheads (or is it Diamond Sights) free float hand guard and it is a big improvement. It puts the vert grip out front where I prefer it as well as give the suppressor more protection. It also has some of that HK MP5SD look to it now.
As far as ATF having you on a list goes, do you really think they don't know about you already? Every time you fill out a 4473 form when buying from a dealer they know where you are and what you have. And if you think they get rid of that information after a couple of years like some FFL's say they do..........think again. I doubt they would get rid of that juicy information that they hold so dear no mater what they tell you. Just because I may be paranoid doesn't mean I am wrong or that they are not out to get me.

With Sig & Century Arms making these arm pistol braces They would be smart if they made one for the Kriss... So maybe there will be an option

+1 MadDogDan.... The KRISS VECTOR was built for this configuration.
(5.5" barrel and stock) The recoil forces are directed exactly where
the engineers intended them to go, down and then to the users shoulder
drastically reducing muzzle flip and felt recoil. The Kriss is by far the most
accurate SBR in my arsenal. I also applaud the both of you for purchasing
it in the SDP format then submitting a form 1. It was a long wait for the

I have played with the sig arm brace on an AR pistol and an AK pistol and don't like it. With the brace mounted all the way forward on the tube like it was designed, it puts my nose too close to the ejection port (I am left handed) and on top of the receiver instead of the brace. If you pull the brace back on the buffer tube it is not very stable and you don't really have the adjustability of a collapsing stock. I also like vert grips so a $200 tax stamp and the wait is worth it to me.

I bought a Thompson 1928 semi SBR and the hardest part is the footwork, photos at CVS, sheriff signing and fingerprinting at the courthouse, it was well worth it.

The other reason is I didn't want to be on an ATF List if you know what I mean but really they already know everything anyway I guess ! I start getting the paper work done then! Thanks guys for the input!
