Closer look at the Vector SMG

So I was in an undisclosed location in NY state over the weekend for a BBQ. We hit the range and Allstar Tactical brought out the fun toys. Vector SMG and a select fire AR.

Mike of Allstar was kind enough to allow me to take a closer look at the Vector SMG. I was hoping I could put my Vector lower onto a SMG upper and shoot full auto out of my Vector. Nope. KRISS cuts the receiver plates differently. The SMG plates have cut outs on the outside of the plates. Whereas the carbine has cutouts on the inside of the receiver plates. The upper and lower will not mate.
