SDP Magazine sticking

Just purchased a SDP version and noticed the magazine will not release without using both hands. I was planning on using the gun as home defense but changing magazines would not be ideal. Is anybody else experiencing this? I haven't even shot it yet and I'm starting to regret purchasing the Kriss.

When I asked Kriss this question about my CRB, here's the answer I got:

"This is something that we have added to the design of the firearm, so that magazines will not wiggle and cause malfunctions while firing. We do not recommend that you adjust this, especially since you have a CA model."

Really? That response does not make any sense if these guns are used for military/police use. I'm curious how many others experience this.
