I ordered the slide rebuild kit from Kriss and thought it would be an easy install. There are no instructions included. The kit is the replacement spring and 2 green plastic pieces. I see there is an allen bolt that seems to capture the spring but the rod its attached to just spins if you try to loosen it. I don't want to mess anything up, so any help would be appreciated.

The manual page 32 is very blurry for me so I did another search and found the same manual with a little better clarity. Still hard to read and everything is fuzzy. What I get out of this is that the two pins at the bottom of the lower part seems to capture the slide rod and spring. What do you think?

Yeah I don't think I even noticed there were pins there until I saw this manual, which is why I thought it might be worth checking out.
