Anyone in Dallas? going to Silencers are Legal shoot this Saturday (2012)

So I just found out that there is a Silencers Are Legal Shoot in Dallas this Saturday the 28.. My friends and I will be in town for a Transformers convention. But this has now taken priority for Saturday!!!

There is a good chance I'll be there. Still sorting out the details with a friend of mine on "when" as we juggle other family obligations.

I'm going to be in by 9 and out by 10:30 it seems. Advance tickets were shut off early today at the Silencerco site, so it's $15 at the gate for me.

Darn. Like ships passing in the fog. Oh well. I can't wait!

Went to the shoot with my friend Jason. He is just starting to enter the firearms world. He loves the osprey suppressor. I got to meet Solvovir and chit chat about the Kriss Vector.

Saw three Vector SMG. Solvovir said there is a guy charging to let you shoot his SMG kriss suppressed but the suppressor is not rated for full auto.

So I'm not crazy. The SMG does have a more pronounced recoil. Which is what I witnessed in Vegas, unsuppressed.

That thing was a handful! I was surprised. I think a lot of it is, that it shoots so FAST. It was the fastest full auto gun there by far. Way more recoil than the carbine.

I tried the SMG on semi and the recoil is also more than the carbine. Not sure if the recoil is due to the short barrel or something inherent of the SMG. Perhaps looser recoil buffer/slider spring?

I can't wait to get my Osprey I need to call tomorrow and check on my stamps.

I saw that! lol, threw the can almost all the way down range. They stopped everyone from shooting for about 5 mins.

what the hell you didnt get a name, I can rent a KRISS SMG 5 miles from my house

might be the same guy? I paid 10 bux and brought my own ammo. That thing had a lot more recoil than my carbine. I didnt do any single shots or 2 round bursts, just straight dump.
