Good question. I don't know. Can engraving go onto polymer? Otherwise you might have to remove material from the polymer housing to expose the metal underneath.

Depends on the year, but my guess from the picture is 15mm. This thread has mention of sizing:

This thread has some interesting comments on re-threading for Metric vs. Standard:

There are also at least a couple of manufacturers of flash hiders for .45ACP threaded for metric (primarily for the HK fans) that I know of that will work, if you don't have a source already in mind. (Unfortunately, AAC has no plans for their Blackout in pistol calibers.)

Are you running another optic on the rail where you needed the space and had to flip the front sight around?

My 2 cents.

Notice that KRISS actually engraved their info on the steel of the barreled frame? Then they have the molded holes in the plastic housing to expose the manufacturers info underneath.

ATF states that the engraving must be in plain sight and not easily defaced. I am wondering if the plastic body is not good enough to fall into that criteria.

I have seen ATF instruction stating that the barrel can be engraved which is probably what I will end up going with. The engraving cannot be on any part of the firearm that is easily removable either and as we know the barrel of the KRISS cannot be removed.

Nark, who are you gonna have thread you barrel?

Do we have sample pictures of the SBR engraving? Can someone post it? You can blur out sensitive information. I'm just curious where the factory KRISS engraving would be on the lower receiver.
