So the CEO of PNW Arms had extended an offer after my review of the KRISS Ammo.

Well they sent me a box of 20 to try out. Originally they were going to make a bullet specifically for the KRISS Vector like their other KRISS tailored bullet. But the compromises and alterations to the powder were not worth it.

This is what they told me recently.

We found that we would need to make too many trade-offs, so we left it optimized for defensive handgun use in low light conditions.

So far they have not tried it in a KRISS Vector.

I have some plans to test out this ammo. Some penetration tests like the Box O' truth and if the connection is still good, try it on some soft body armor. Will update when I do the tests but it might not happen until next month.

Did you ever get to try these out?

Any time I get a new gun, I always buy 5 or 6 different kinds of ammo. to test out in it. I've found some semi-autos are VERY picky about what HP ammo. you feed them. Some just don't have as good accuracy, others are very unreliable feeding.

As an aside, I recently bought a Kahr CM9 pistol. (Very small 9mm.) Brand new out of the box it digested 6 different loads perfectly, including Cor-Bon +P's! No malfunctions of any kind!

No I haven't. I have them as my home defense round for my Glock 21 and have yet to shoot them.

Roger that. Well... whenever my local gun shop gets their next shipment of SDP's, I'll do my usual ammo testing and let ya know. ;)
