FNG with a few questions
Hey everyone! Been looking into picking up a Kriss but had a few questions first.
To my understanding the gen 2 Kriss solved all of the reliability issues that the gen 1 had is that true? If so what is a foolproof way to tell the difference between the generations? Also can the Kriss take +P and +P+ ammo?

Re: FNG with a few questions
Hello and welcome to the forum!
Yes, there have been a number of revisions to the original KRISS Vector. We have some of those outlined in another thread:
http://www.krisstalk.com/t88-kriss-vector-factory-revisions
One of the easiest ways to get an idea of how current a CRB (for example) would be is to look at the safety switch. If it has "F" and "S", then it's an older revision. If it simply has a red dot, it's a newer build. There have been other externally visible changes to the housing for the product naming (dropping "Super V" and "SO") and hard point standoffs as described in the thread above.
As for ammunition, I have seen nothing specific from KRISS USA that approves the use of hotter ammo. Two places to check (in addition to contacting them directly with the make/model of ammo you have in mind):
