I've shot some Super carbines in the past and have been wanting a SBR for a long time, found a good deal for $1800 shipped so now its sitting at my buddy shop(FFL) waiting to get transfered to me.I just finished up my trust so I'm ready.Already put 100 rounds though it.

Color me jealous. I wanted to SBR mine when I lived in PGH but since my wife and I moved to NY state im glad I didnt. Otherwise it would be illegal.

Can't. NY state requires a license for hand guns. I cant rent or shoot anyone's pistol without one. If I get one, my wife cant shoot my pistol without her own. Also I think I cant have that in NY due to NY still observes assault weapon ban.
