How much play is in your buttstock?

Mine moves up and down slightly in the open position. It's not a problem when it's shouldered but I just wanted to see if this was normal.

Which part? The hinge or the part that your shoulder touches.

Sorry for not specifying, I meant the hinge where the stock folds.

There is no play in my stock at all. Maybe you can shim it with a washer?

No play in my stock either.

I don't have any play in mine (CA pinned version) but I notice it does flex more than I'd like it to. No biggie though...

No play in mine but it wont stay in the folded pos when firing

Just checked mine..had it just a few days but put 500 rounds through it Saturday. Tore it down and put it together a few times...so for what it's worth...I have zero play in mine. Tight as a miser and snaps with authority when you open it.

I have a socialist State compliant one, which is pinned and it has an awful lot of play. I've had it for a year and I've only put about 2000 rounds through it. I noticed it gradually had more and more give. It's bad at this point. I can actually see the screw which holds the stock, back from folding. I've tried to figure out someway to get to that screw and secure it, but I must not be that bright.
