Do you have gen 3 mags? What is your serial number? If it is an earlier model, I would send it back to Kriss.

They are both gen 4's & I just purchased it new. Has diamond head sights.

Serial number in the 7000 range.

Very odd. My gen 4s don't stay in my magwell. They fall out. I would send it back in to VABeach.
