SDP vs SBR
Anyone have a Vector SBR with the folding stock. While not exactly the same; a folded SBR is close to the SDP right? I'm just wondering what the handling characteristics are between the two setups? I would expect the SBR would be much easier to hold steady and shoot vs the SDP two handed?
Anyone tried this? Shooting an SBR folded like an SDP? (To be fair you can't use the front vertical grip either. You'd have to hold the mag well when folded).
I have an SDP, wondering if it's worth making it a legal SBR? (Of course I have to move out of CA first).

Re: SDP vs SBR
SBR is of course more stable with stock. Folded, it isnt any better than the SDP.
However something you should seriously consider is the use of a single point sling. The SAS used single point slings with the MP5K. Supposedly it was easier to use with gas masks.
Anyway the concept is that you have the sling at the right length so that you press forward with the SDP. Keeping the sling taught and maintaining the forward pressure, a sling can greatly help with controlling and stabilizing the SDP.
Take a look at my latest toy. The ACP PDW.

Re: SDP vs SBR
Watch this too. I shot the SDP for the first time at SHOT Show. It was rather easy to ping steel at about 30-40 yds.
I first tried a sterotypical pistol grip (support hand wraped around firing hand). Then I switched to a normal KRISS Vector grip.
