First range day with Vector CRB
Just picked up my Vector CRB today and headed to the range an hour later. Put 50 rounds down range without a single problem. Charging handle is stiff but manageable. A few users suggested that I go ahead and leave the bolt back while its stored to loosen it up a bit. Also picked up a Kriss brand extended magazine. I'm not sure how many rounds you can squeeze into that thing but it stopped for me at about 23.
Did my first field strip and it was incredibly easy. The gun shop I went to suggested Frog Lube so I cleaned it up real well and used the Frog Lube paste. Anybody else out there using Frog Lube? Any suggestions? Also am using an RSA for my sling but not really to thrilled that it blocks the rear sight when folded. I'm thinking about ordering the stock pin attachment. Another user posted that he got a 25.00 credit for the Kriss store when he registered his firearm. Did anyone else get that?
Also picked up a picattini rail for the side. Its a magpul brand but the screws appear to be too big for the threading. Anywhere know where I can pick up the correct size screws?
Anyway, EXTREMELY happy with the firearm so far. A lot of fun to shoot and DAMN does it look cool! Thanks for the help! John

Awesome!!! I have been able to squeeze as much as 29 in a KRISS mag but I usually run 25 just so I don't fubar the spring.
As far as lube I am curious about frog lube. Let us know how it looks after a few 100 rounds.

Will do buddybaja! So far frog lube is great. No chemical smell and apparently its safe to eat. So worst case scenario...... lol.

Ill have to try it out after my next trip. Running hoppes right now because it works on everything else and supposedly it likes to run wet. But man does everything stick everywhere.

Re: First range day with Vector CRB
if i use the uala? (spelling) i think 6 mags held 28 and one held 29, but that is pretty hard to get them in, if i load w/ my thumb, its like 12 and i give up, yay for loaders. i usually do 25 to, cause its 1/2 the box.
23 seems low, w/ high cap mags ive jammed the roudns in then felt the spring give/settle, maybe feeling follower unsnag?? and could load more, maybe push harder, or take it apart and try after.

I can get 30 rounds in all my mags without the uplulu loader by slam feeding rounds. My mags are brand new with tight springs so I keep them loaded to loosen the springs. Im fairly sure that one of mine will take 31 rounds.
