New Owner, questionable first experience
Hey everyone!
I recently purchased a CRB and it arrived today. I was very pleased with the look and feel, and everyone in the shop stared at it with mouths open!
I got two extended mags from KRISS along with it.
They do not include the OTIS kits with it anymore, just a heads up, and the iron sights are diamond. Not too impressed with the sights and buying a reflex sight.
Anyways, I loaded it up with PMC ammo and took it to the mountains in the woods.
The gun was stiff, definitely tactical feeling, the way i wanted it. I bought this as a personal celebratory present for passing medical school. When I move back to FL for residency, Miami to be exact if anyone wants to meet up and shoot, I was planning on getting it stamped for a SBR.
The 13 round mag was great, but the two extended mags weren't unloading properly. They would go roughly half way. It happened when there was 3 or so rounds left in the magazine. I attached a picture. Also, I noticed the shells nicked the rim around their exit. I was wondering if that was normal?

The shells hitting the rim of the ejection port is pretty standard in all the Vectors i have seen. Just flying out of there.
For what it is worth I have bought 10 KRISS brand mags and had one that had a bad spring causing it to have feeding issues since the follower was hanging up. Try taking the mag apart and see if the spring is bent or twisted. I will try and post up pictures of mine.
Same problem though... load, shoot about 10 rounds and then FTF, bang mag, shoot, FTF, bang mag, no problem for rest of mag. The follower was getting caught where the extension meets the original mag.

Re: New Owner, questionable first experience
I talked with the warranty department.
I gave them all of my information and we've concluded that I should send in my mags so they can take a look at them. If they can't find anything wrong with them, then I guess my CRB goes next.
Pretty crappy experience especially for a gun I've been wanting for some time now

Well after a long wait, and a graduation from medical school!!!!
I finally got my vector back, planning on taking it to the range to test it out. I wil let you all know how it goes!

One of the issues with any extended " Glock" mag is all those dust sucking holes..... They need a frequent clean out if you get them dirty or are shooting in a dusty environment.
