A visit from an Apache while out shooting.

No, not the Native American kind.

Back in 2011, my wife was visiting her company's Salt Lake City office. Her co-workers took her out to shoot some 22 LR and 20ga. They were greeted by an Apache. She said the front gun was waving around.

That's a definite Oh S*** moment for sure!

Were they too close to a restricted area, or under the military airspace?! That's very unusual, to be checked out by an Apache like that.

30mm chain gun on an Apache is slaved to the gunner's head. As well as the other weaps. ;-)

I think they were close to a base and the Apache was out practicing. Seems odd that the pilot would swoop down so close to people with firearms.

They may of wanted to get pic's of your license plates, for the files.
