New member / New Kriss / KCI mags?

Hello all -

I just purchased a NIB Kriss Vector on auction.... been wanting this carbine ever since it was introduced at Vegas ShotShow 30... FINALLY I have a carbine inbound. I have run the Google against the Forum threads and posts for KCI mags, and there's more negative comments than positive regarding these Korean manufacture mags. In general however, you don't hear from people when things are operable.

I hate to beat a dead-horse, but are there any good reports?
At $35 a pop, it's hard to resist, BUT, I don't mind spending extra for reliable operation.

Please opine or report on any positive experience with these mags.

I always use factory mags for my guns for just that reason...Less problems........... except for 5.56 platforms to which i use aftermarket mags from experience and working in Korea for a few years they really try to make things just like the real thing but it is never the same and most times not as good of quality...but still better then the Chinese versions

Thanks for vid link... fundamental flaw indeed, and I wouldn't expect any difference in a carbine.
So, where does one go for the best Kriss/Glock mag deals?

Seems that Kriss has the best price for their extended mags, that I have found.

The auction "seller" offered up Kriss-extended Glock mags at $60 a pop, which is under the Kriss web-store price.
Time to go buy some then...

I'm of the same mindset on mags (factory only), but I had to ask about these.

make sure you don't but that extension kitfor 60..... not even worth it considering you need a normal glock mag to put on the extension kit

Indeed... these are Glock21 mags with extensions.

I googled all the mag topics for review, and Glock 21 mags appear to be in at least 4 version, some even pre-ban.
Are there any 21 version mags to avoid? I want some lower profile 13rd mags as well.

What state you in? I would just get the 25+ mag for it if it is legal in your state

Calirado... gubna' Hickenbloomberg signed our July 1 mag cap ban, so it's buy em now time.
The 25+ mags are first choice, however not having the mag protusion by a stock 13'er appeals to me as well.
I will be ordering from Kriss here shortly...

oh so you cant have more then 15rd magazines if my memory is correct on Colorado Law. Yeah some don't like the look of the extended mag some do... im one of them that likes it

Correct... no transfer/sale/acquisition of any mag > 15 rounds.
July 1st deadline, and everything acquired prior to that date is effectively grandfathered.
It's really poorly crafted.

I want both styles of mags, so I'm definitely going to invest in the 25+ versions first.
I can acquire standard 13'ers after our 7/1 deadline.
