New SDP sights Empty New SDP sights

Post by bigapl Sat Nov 10, 2012 9:16 pm

Just got my new SDP Thursday and love it and have been through 150 rounds but the flip up sights were like a foot low at 10 yards tried adjusting and cannot go any lower with front post and still 2 inches too low. Anyone else had this issue kinda disappointed with the sights.

i put in trij night sight post in front site and it was 3" high at 25' and wouldnt go any lower, maybe that will solve your problem some.

i dont know trajectories for 45 acp offhand but id say 10 and 25 zero should be the same, its not that slow/hvy of a round that it would drop in 15'

New SDP sights Empty rear sight

Did you move the rear sight the right direction? Always move the rear sight the direction you want to move the bullet strike on paper. If you were hitting low on paper, move the rear sight up. If you were making the right adjustments, I'd call Kriss.

I wasn't aware of that, sounds like you might have to go to a shorter front sight or do a little filing .
