KRISS 25+ mags

do these actually hold 30 rds???

I have 4 KRISS 25+ branded mags that I have used and the most I got into them was 28. One only wanted 27. I could almost get the 29th round in a couple.

I keep mine loaded to 25, as it splits a 50rnd box nicely. If I was shooting competition, it would be a different story.

I have a few other rifle magazines in other calibers that just work better if I don't stuff them completely full. I don't mind if it "only" holds 25 or 28 instead of 30.

I don’t have a Lula speed loader, but I can get 30 rounds in all my magazines except two I just opened. The springs are pretty stiff new. I have a couple 50 round stick magazines for another gun and they are much harder to load. I learned a trick using the 50 round magazines. What I do when I can’t push another round in by hand; I slam the magazine to the floor and let the weight of the already loaded rounds + gravity + stopping speed of magazine to compress the magazine spring. You just have to keep pressure with a finger on the top round while doing so. Holding the mag spring down is ALOT easier than pushing the spring down. I find this method works just as well on my KRISS magazines, and my KRISS works fine with 30 rounds loaded in the mag.

Thanks everyone. i'm perfectly ok with the 25 rounds but i've seen so many references to 30rd mags on the web and forums with these guns i was curious as to where/what mags they were using lol
