Wow man great pics!!! Mind sharing your light setup?
That bullet button is so weird!!! haha. Im curious what it looks like dissassembled.
I bought a magazine catch rebuild kit from KRISS USA and let me tell you it is a bit over priced. The stock mag catch is made by Lone Wolf.
I think it is this one.

Anyway thanks for the pics.

Kinda funny how I was going to take my magazine release apart during the first few weeks of owning mine. Whoever installed the bullet button did not tighten it so what would happen is the magazine will sit just right, but after the first few shots the magazine will fall out.
Thank you for that link, I was planning on replacing my current bullet button with the one from KRISS and slap on one of these Raddlock bullet buttons instead:

As for lighting, I used a camera mounted flash.

So you ceiling bounced the flash? And what is your backdrop?

Yes, I bounced the flash. The backdrop is actually a makeshift lightbox I created with poster board.

Nice. My light box is too small for the KRISS. I need a flash. I just use the light above my dining table for my light box pics. Otherwise I take pictures outside my back porch in the shade.

You can always try the "Bathtub" method, you'll have to search online which should be an AR-15 dot com link since I can't post links yet.
Basically, it's using a bathtub as a improvised lightbox then just playing around with the levels on photoshop or whichever photo editing tool you wish to use.

Just be careful, I told my friend about this and now his wife complains to me, "All he does in the bathroom is to take pictures of his guns"

Haha yep. But my walls arent white. But I have plenty of bright flashlights. I might try this with the ping pong ball diffuser on my pop up flash on my Nikon.

I did but it didnt turn out so well.

I may need to use a tripod. I was impatient and used a high ISO and hand held my camera. I was more eager about my new shroud.

Re: My KRISS Super V CRB w/ Bullet Button
you mean shroud with AFG. The shroud is already a hand guard.

Vector Bullet Button
Your bullet button is unlike any others i've seen on a vector, and more like a typical AR mag lock. Can you share how you installed this type on your carbine vector? I just got my SDP and would like a similar set up. I'm concerned the factory mag lock will come off like other posts have indicated. Thanks.
