SKU don't know? Empty SKU don't know?

So, I had saved up the money for a Vector SDP , which in turn accidently got spent on a Kimber ( my bad). I am now almost ready to purchase an SDP....again...I've been looking at lots online and most have the SKU:KSDPB0800101.

My question is this; Does this SKU tell me anything about when the gun was made or if it is the latest model?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.
