Stupid bullet button and extended mag restrictions. I dont wanna get the raddlock because I feel like itll interfere with the way I hold the vector. The oem bullet button is ridiculously small I had to file down an ar bullet button tool because I didn't wanna carry a hex wrench everywhere when I shoot. Thinking about moving to Texas one day where the average iq is way above retarded.

Hahaha,I carry around the small hex attachments to the interchangeable screw drivers, that's a good idea on the AR bullet button tool, thanks for
The tip on that one. I hate that dam bullet button with a passion. I too myself is planning on moving out of California, planing to move to Seattle,WA

It was one of those ar bullet button tool rings. Fits on my thumb for quick reloads.

Its sturdy as thin as I filed it. Its slightly smaller than the hole on the oem bullet button.

Oh ok, with what you just said I was thinking bout just drilling the bullet button a Little bigger ? Or would that be illegal 'cause I taped with the bullet button?

I dont think it would be but id check with someone who knows for sure. I dont think it would matter because you still need a tool to release the mag.

What did you use to file it down with ? Just a regular nail filer ?

Yes just a regular file then used sand paper to try and make it look smooth. I might paint it to make it look clean.

Do you have to magpul AFG 2, on your SDP ? If so are you running the airsoft model or the one for an actual riffle ?

Re: CRB and SDP owner from CA
Ive thought about getting an afg2 but for the way I hold the sdp theres no point in me getting it. I might get it for my crb when I get my free float adapter made. Its airsoft part but gonna go to a machine shop get it made into high strength aluminum and use the afg on a free float rail.

Do you feel accuracy wise they are the same? I just ordered the 6.5" barrel over my original choice of the crb. Silly question but it's bothered me. Though I've committed Im still curious.

Re: CRB and SDP owner from CA
Accuracy to me depends on how well the firearm is zeroed out and the skill of the shooter. From what I've read increase in length of barrel doesn't increase accuracy just muzzle velocity. Both can be very accurate. Ive seen videos of the SDP hitting a target at 200 yards. I do favor the SDP more than the CRB but I would buy both all over again if I didn't have them. Hope that helps.

If I had to guess we've seen the same videos and when you say velocity do you mean in theory the longer barrel slows the velocity? I made a topic on it but since we started a convo fig I'd ask. Great reply and I'll prob need to get the crb eventually too

This is what I meant by increase in muzzle velocity. With that increase the round will travel straighter longer before it follows the downward trajectory. However, I do believe that the barrel does slow it down some amount. You cant have contact with something and expect to not have any friction or loss of energy.
