Mag Pouches for your 30-rnd Vector Mags
I tried UZI Mag pouches and they're just not long enough.
Next up Im gonna try FN PS90 Mag Pouches. I think those will do the trick.
Has anyone come across a good solution yet?

I use custom kydex pouch on my hip. But if that doesnt float your boat you could always get the Condor SMG mag pouch. I have them and will take a pic later after dinner.
Re: Mag Pouches for your 30-rnd Vector Mags
Yeah I'd like to see some pics. I'd appreciate that!
Ideally Im looking for pouches that could be attach to a Molle Vest.
I'd like to put together a dedicated Vest for my Vector

Well the SMG pouches get a little long. But here you go.
Here are my pouches. The custom kydex and my 45 acp fobus holster

As Solscud007 already mentioned, SMG pouches. KRISS USA posted this response on their Facebook page Aug 3rd:
http://www.blackhawk.com/product/%E2%84%A6mega-Elite-SMG-Mag-Pouch,1160,111.htmThe BLACKHAWK Omega SMG pouch (56SM40) works pretty well with the extended magazines. It’s a snug fit, but it will work.

Re: Mag Pouches for your 30-rnd Vector Mags
I was looking for magazine pouches and came across this thread. I will look into the Blackhawk SMG pouches. They look pretty good.
While going through this thread, I see the "pull style" baseplates on the Glock mags in this photo.....
There is one black and two in white. Does anyone know what they are and where to get them. I called Magpul and I was told they do not offer any for the Glock 21 magazine.

Re: Mag Pouches for your 30-rnd Vector Mags
Actually there are two black and two white. One is inserted into the KRISS. The second black in in my pouch and the two white you can see.
I had a friend help me make them. At the time I had a Keltec Sub2000 in Glock 40. I bought Magpul speedplates for the mags. I sent my friend a Glock 21 mag body and floor plate and the Glock 9mm speedplate. He rendered it up in Solidworks and I had them 3D printed.
They were a solution to the problem of running pre-ban non full metal lined Glock 21 mags in the KRISS vector.
Here is a link to the sale thread. I originally had a version that has KRISS VECTOR and the V logo on the speedplate but KRISS ARMS shot it down and had the item pulled from sale. Anyway you can order the generic version.

Re: Mag Pouches for your 30-rnd Vector Mags
Here is my new setup. It is based on Chris Costa's subleg rig.
It is an ATS leg panel. The design is that it should ride just below the belt. Not down by your thigh above the knee.
I'm using two double HSGI taco pouches. I tried putting the extended mags in the pistol pouches, in front of the rifle mag pouch but it is just too shallow and the mags flop back and forth. So I put the extended mags into the rifle mag pouch and keep my Glock 21 mags in the pistol pouches.

Nick,
Excellent!
Looks good.
I have two pistol Taco's coming to check them out. I ordered them last week. I will then decide if I want to use them.
More interestingly, what is going on with your Kriss up front?? I want to see better photos of the barrel shroud and everything you have going on up there!! It looks fantastic!! Can you post additional photos or start a new thread?
Ken

How is the retention with the taco pouches? Good enough for a lot of movement - up and down off the ground and running? Looks great.

Re: Mag Pouches for your 30-rnd Vector Mags
I ordered this double smg mag pouch, mags fits fine, have 2nd double on order now that i saw first works ok. they make single also, the molle strap wasn't what i expected but it threaded thru just fine and seems secure.
the panel is made by 5.11, the good tip i read about buying a thigh rig is make sure the top is split so you can put it on both sides of a belt loop and that keeps it from moving front/back on your belt, just a tip that seems to work.
you can tuck the flap/cover into pouch and mag still fits fine so you don't have to mess w/ the flap during competition.
there are going to be pistol caliber competitions in michigan this year, i dont think i'll need more than 4 mags for a stage but i'll probably get fobus double mag paddle deal so i can carry 2 13 rd mags as well.

Re: Mag Pouches for your 30-rnd Vector Mags
I use the Glock 21 mag carriers by: www.kytexgear.com
They stay put when jogging/slow run during run n guns. They stick up a bit and could jab ya if you need to bend or lean too far. They tend to flow with my body when I'm stretching/leaning.
They are also inexpensive, can be taken off and on without taking your belt off, slim, and light weight. No rivets, just slim and function great!

Re: Mag Pouches for your 30-rnd Vector Mags
Nih, thanks. Ordered a set of the Tactical Tailor mag pouches for another set of extended mags and fit like they were made for them, thanks again. The Molle straps on the back seem pretty solid and they are made out of Washington state.

Re: Mag Pouches for your 30-rnd Vector Mags
Mattrog, it's the same one but when I ordered them on the 4th of Sept it was only $24.54, Item # was 10083-14, with $7.20 shipping. Look's like they went up about $13.00, just on the pouch? Total was $31.74 to the door.

Thanks
I ordered 2 and it was $44.76 total w/ $7 shipping ($18.88 each) despite what the site's MSRP reflected.
Great find.
Many thanks

Just curious, was that price with the LE discount? If not I'll have to order a couple more too. You have to thank, Nih he was the one who found the little jewel.
