Just got a TDI marked SDP. Should I sell it before it explodes? Read here and now scared.

Traded into a Gen 1 TDI marked sdp .45 and from what I gathered they either run good or didn't. Took this one I traded into (for a hell of a deal) and it runs pretty good. Still in the break in period.

Came here and now I'm seeing lots of threads about Gen 1s exploding and kriss saying tough luck. Am I better off selling now while it's in good shape?

Also previous owner took off the rear sling plate/ hinge/ metal tab/ all mounting screws and such and lost it all. Anyone have the setup laying around from when they converted to arm brace or anything?
