How to search

Maybe I'm just use to Google's very powerful search, but I can't seem to use the search feature of the forum correctly. I keep getting no results when I know the word I'm looking for is there.

For example, search for "mags" returns some results. Search for "FTE" (which I've seen in posts) returns no results.

What am I doing wrong?

I put a blurb how to do this in the next to last post in the "Welcome to KRISS Talk" sticky, but your question was a nudge for me to make a "global announcement" post about searching so it hits all areas.
