Anyone else experience this prob?
Bought my SV about a year ago, have put 500-600 rounds through it, not one issue. Took it out yesterday and after 60 rounds it kept malfunctioning, basically it fires, kicks spent shell and chambers new one but the trigger doesn't reset, I'm thinking broken trigger spring?! Don't really want to send to TDI for a $25-$40 fix locally, and to think one of the Swiss owners of TDI gave me a sweet ass KRISS ballcap at ther SHOT show last week!!!

Did you cal the tech service and ask them or did they just want to send it in.
Does it do the same thing with a different mag ?

Re: Anyone else experience this prob?
mag doesn't have anything to do with trigger reset. No, haven't called....TDI wants it returned where you bought it.

The fire control group is something that has had revisions over time. I think in the owner's manual where they want you to bring it back to the dealer you got it from is to make it easier to get your Vector sent back to them... rather than having you ship it to them yourself. I would absolutely get in touch with service at KRISS USA first. See if this is something they think your dealer can handle... either the repair if they are authorized for service or getting it sent to them. You have a lifetime warranty.Lucien2 wrote:... I would not be too discouraged with the idea of having it sent to them either. It has been my personal experience that they will go through your Vector end-to-end to update it to current specs while they have it, which in my case was significant parts. (I have one of their earlier production runs, and they essentially rebuilt a new Vector for me.)
You can start here: https://kriss-usa.com/contact-usl
...for the phone number or use that web form to write up the issue. There are at least a couple of us on this forum who have had good experiences working with Daniel Velilla @ KRISS USA.
Please let us know how it goes.

Mambro. Did they update your safety selector? I prefer the way mine works, the original set up
Re: Anyone else experience this prob?
When I had the "update" work done (Sept 2010) I don't think KRISS USA had made the production change to the new style selectors yet. I've been thinking about having it done though... as well as the main slide buffer that I think somebody mentioned in another thread is now green in color (to also easily help indicate the new material being used).Solscud007 wrote:Mambro. Yeah I need a new buffer. Mine has deteroriated. From what i remember, they shave the rectangular stops and sinply change the position angle of the selector switch. I rather they didnt mess with it.

I spoke with Charlie Martz today, he said problem with fire control group most likely. I will send it to Kriss and he said they will go through the whole weapon and update parts, super fast service with this company!!!!!

Just curious if you shipped it yourself or if your KRISS dealer took care of that for you. :?:Lucien2 wrote:Weapon shipped yesterday, I will update this thread when I get it back.

Re: Anyone else experience this prob?
Follow up;
Received the Vector back today, paper work stated the following:
1. Inspected Kriss Vector
2. Replaced all parts that needed updates, (bolt, trigger control group, lower receiver housing, all springs and pins)
3. Certified by test firing 60 rounds.
I will put 300 rounds through it this week sometime and report back. I can't say enough for KRISS's customer service, excellent!
