New KRISS on the block

Howdy all! The name's Robb and I'm the proud owner of a T&E model of a KRISS Vector CRB/SO. I've got 3 months to play with it at which time, I will probably be writing out a check for the thing.

I will be documenting my experience on my blog at http://blog.robballen.com if anyone wants to follow along. I've got a decent following on the blog and am looking at having a pretty good series on the Kriss. Warning, if you've never read me, understand that my tongue has worn a divot into my cheek and that my style is a bit humorous.

I'm not much of a forum guy, but I'll try to check in from time to time here to discuss a few things. Hopefully there will be some good information to include in my posts.

Oh in your block you said something about Kentucky windage, so part of Ky are you from I'm in Crestwood close to Louisville

Marty, Kentucy windage is just a mental adjustment of the point of aim to correct point of impact. I dont think he is really from KY.

Anyway what is T&E?

Heh, yes KY Windage is "I'm shooting low, I'll aim higher".

I'm in the Tampa, Fl. area of the world.

T&E is Testing & Evaluation. They send me one, I give it a warm home and feed it for a few while, and just when it bonds with me, they take it back.

The plan was to buy it, but the Mrs. just called and there's water coming out from under the shower, which might kill that plan.

Im curious. How do you get a T&E? What makes you so special that they send you one? Not that I'm jealous or anything haha.

Been a gun blogger for a few years now. Been running my blog since 04. I've got a good 1,000+ readers a day, which isn't a lot compared to the rest of the Interweb Tubes, but they readers who are very focused on guns and gun rights that I blog about.

Toss in plenty of networking and a pretty good ability to push search engine results, and from time to time I get a few perks ;)

haah cool. Just curious. Apparently you are a celebrity and I had no idea haha.

It is tough finding people with a KRISS. I have been pushing KRISS USA to get things moving but they are rather slow. And so I have been documenting my Vector on my facebook page. but there is little to no traffic there.

At least we have this forum now.
