Eotech 512 and XPS2 does either come with a mount for Kriss

Is there a Eotech that comes with a mount for the Kriss SDP if not what mount to get . Some second hand Eotechs are coming with a mount for the AR but that would be too high for any co-witness with a Kriss.

I run an Aimpoint H1 and I tell you it's as if it was made for the Kriss. To answer your post I've yet to see any EOTech mounts that is the perfect hight for the EOTech and Kriss marriage lower.

Im not sure what you guys are talking about. There is nothing special about the KRISS ad the eotechs. I run a 512. It sits lower on picatinny rails than the EXPS-2. The 512 is a 1/2 co-witness. So the BUIS appear to take up the lower 1/2 of the viewing window of the Eotech.

The EXPS-2 sits higher. So the BUIS occupy only the lower 1/3 when you cowitness the optic.

KRISS irons are nothing special and are the same height as AR BUIS.

The regular XPS2 (without the EXPS2 quick release mount) will also co-witness just like the 512. Goes right from the box to the rail, no issues.

I'm with SolScud007, I'm not sure what you are talking about… Do you mean "Absolute" co-witness? Cause I've got zero issues "co-witnessing" my XPS-2. I've even gone to a Trijicon RX30 (no batteries required but huge dot, perfect for CQB) and that doesn't have issues either and actually comes closer to 'absolute' co-witness….

Sorry about the confusion ! It looked like some Eotechs sat higher than the 512 and some i have seen had taller QD mounts . The Kriss needs a low mount do to the lower position of the barrel . Thanks for the input !

the difference in low mount or "high" mount is only like 1/4 inch. In the grand scheme of things it is not going to help your height over bore to lower the eotech by 1/4 inch. Even if the eotech sat just an inch above the barrel you will still have discrepancies in point of aim and point of impact. depending on the distance, even if you looked out of the barrel, that will not be the path of the bullet.
