Buying used EOTech for my Kriss Vector - need help identifying the EOTech model

I pick up my Kriss Vector the day after Christmas.. a little gift to myself.

I want a red dot type sight for it but I don't want to pay full retail.. after plopping down almost $2k.

The guy told me that this is a 552, but when I look up 552, it uses AA batteries.. no the LR1 batteries?
So, I'm guessing this is an older 552 version or something... Can anyone positively identify this unit?

I would look carefully at the case screws to see if it has been taken apart, if it has been opened up the warranty will be void when the seal is broken.

Also make sure the Eotech has a serial number. There are some good knock offs. The cheaper ones have a mirror like finish on the rear glass. Real eotechs don't have that.

Battery will last over 1yr if left on

Thanks for the advice.. I talked the guy down to $200 so I guess I will try it out. I will make sure it has a serial number.

I asked about the serial number again.. now he says it isn't working so he can't sell it.
