Kriss Vector "Problems"
Hello All,
I found this forum looking for some information on some problems I've had with my Kriss Vector. I'm curious if others have had similar issues...
Take Down Pins: I've noticed the lower take down pin at the base plate for the bolt gets "chewed-up" and is developing grooves in the metal. I rotated the other 3 pins and they start showing the same wear after 50-100 rounds.
Ejection Port: I have a number of "chunks" in the metal from spent casings.
Dented Casings: I started saving my brass in the event I ever start reloading (.45 ACP isn't cheap) but noticed the casings are "dented".
I contacted Kriss-USA but it doesn't sound like anyone has reported any problems like this so thought I'd do some research. Any thoughts on the above or similar experiences?

Dear XXXXXXX
We have an estimated 2 – 4 week turnaround time for repair once we receive the firearm.
Otherwise, denting of the brass shells occurs due the the high velocity of the rounds being fired from the Vector. We can still take in your firearm to check the internals and test fire it.

I have the same problem. Their reason for the dented brass sounds fishy. My casings are dented in after being fired. I emailed them and I'm waiting for a response.

My brass is identical, I send photos of it with my question to them. Aside from denting the brass, I have no issues what so ever
