Re: Barrel Split
I took the barrel shroud off today for the first time in about a year and found this.

Have you noticed any accuracy degradation or extra gas?

Re: Barrel Split
None at all and it was still shooting 2 -2.5 inch groups at 15 to 20 yards free handed.

Re: Barrel Split
Very interesting. Are you planning to contact Kriss to resolve this issue? I'm curious as to how they're going to respond.

Re: Barrel Split
Wow, that is surprising! We're all interested in how it goes once they get it back for service.

I'm interested as well. Curious as to what they will decide to do. He never said one way or the other but he did say that they would get it back to me as quick as possible after I advised him that I did use it at work.

Re: Barrel Split
Well, I got it shipped out on January the 27th and received a e-mail on the 30th advising that they had received it. Checked on it on February the 15th and they advised that they were running behind but mine was 3rd in line to be assigned to a gunsmith. I received a e-mail today saying that the repairs had been made under warranty and the gun was awaiting test firing before being shipped out. Hoping to have it by the end of the week.

Re: Barrel Split
Well, I picked up my Vector tonight and Wow was I surprised. I at first thought that they had sent me a whole new gun until I checked the serial number. Not only did they replace the barrel & shroud but they also updated the whole gun. The only things that were not changed were the sights, stock and the metal side plates in the lower. See the attached pictures of the paperwork they sent back with the gun.
