Gen II CRB barrel shroud question
Hi there, I'm a new guy here. I just picked up a new Gen II CRB 9mm carbine after reading the valuable info from this forum! I hope to take her out for a spin this weekend. Yes it is front end weighted (as already posted by other members here) so I am just wondering if the barrel shroud can be lightened with cut slots. Has this been done? (Don't know how much can be reduced without putting it on a scale since the set screw in mine is solidly stuck in place with red loc-tite and not moving with simple butane lighter heat)
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Gen II CRB barrel shroud question
Hello! I can't say on the Gen II, but KRISS did offer variants of the Gen I round/tube shroud that had angled cuts and another with uniform holes in it. I think it was more for looks than weight reduction.

Re: Gen II CRB barrel shroud question
Thanks! I did see that post. The weight reduction I'm thinking is much more drastic. I won't do anything with it until the gun is proofed to be 100%. It only got 100 rds or so down range.
