Removing the barrel
Has anyone ever removed a barrel from a Kriss before or have and idea how to remove it?

According to buddy @ kriss tdi, the barrel once pressed into the trunnion, is so hard to remove without damaging it, that they will not attempt it. A lot of the cost to do a CRB to SBR conversion is a new barrel. If you are a gun smith with a machine shop, you may be able to do it.

It turns out the guys at "Red Jacket Firearms" worked on a Vector and called KRISS USA for help in figuring it out... it's not so easy. KRISS USA sent over a couple of their guys to advise. If you are able to see a repeat of the episode, that was the interesting part to me.

In another thread, I posted screen shots from a KRISS video. I then asked my friend over at Strikemark Targets and he said the process is called swagged. There is a metal rod inserted and then almost like a rivet, the is squashed and it mushrooms up to prevent coming back out. So you have to drill it out. I assume from watching the Red Jacket Total Recall episode.
