Yes, there are errors in the picture, but... it's Hollywood, folks!

Just catching up here...
The Kriss Vector was also seen a few times in The Avengers. The mercenaries that board the heli-carrier have a wide variety of rifles, including the Kriss, Steyr Aug and Noveske Diplomat.

So I finally watched "Total Recall", good movie!
But now I know why we have to wait so long for the gun stores to get Kriss products in-stock... Hollywood has all of them! How many Kriss SBR's, etc. did they have in that movie?! Wowzers!

A lot of them are resin recasts like blueguns. Polymer and rubber props. Only a few are functioning and shoot blanks. A lot can be done in VFX to show muzzle flash.
Re: KRISS Vector in Movies
I know... just kidding. The way movie productions work, they probably had "at most" a dozen real ones. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they used some Airsoft guns, too. Some of those are decked-out very nicely these days!

KRISS SDP in Resident Evil
Just watching cable TV and saw a commercial for a showing of Resident Evil "Retribution" and noticed an action shot of Alice with a pair of SDP's, one in each hand.
Just sayin,

Yep. There's a thread here somewhere with posts about Kriss products in movies.
I found one in The Avengers, too!

Yeah, they were awesome full auto, magical infinity magazines and no sights. It's cool to see our guns in movies but I hate B.S. like that.

Re: KRISS Vector in Movies
Okay, so I finally rented this movie. Glad I only spent a buck on it!
The Director must have gone to the Schwarzenegger School of Gunfights. The Heroes only need a few shots to kill baddies, their guns never jam and never run out of ammo. The baddies guns are all loaded with blanks. Seriously- 6 Ma-Dueces emptied into a store front, no one gets hit and the building isn't even scratched?!
A few hot chicks, some explosions, and millions of rounds expended. Oh, there was some dialog in it, too.
Riddle me this, Batman- How in the Wide, Wide World of Sports were those SDP's attached to her back?! No straps or holsters... velcro or magnets are all I can think of.

I was more curious on how her SDP had flat backs instead of the "nub" where the stock would of gone.
As all CRB owners know, and only owning the CBR myself, there's a hole where the stock locks into. So I do not know what the SDP's rear looks like without the "nub".

It doesn't matter,it's MILLA. On a serious note, I wondered about the carrying of the guns without a holster. Just more Hollywood magic.

Re: KRISS Vector in Movies
also movie guns aren't necessarily brought in from manufacturer, there is one big company i've heard of that makes guns for movies, why RE doesn't have nub possibly, they didnt feel like building it in their movie gun.

Re: KRISS Vector in Movies
They probably had a bunch of SBRs/SMGs and the director decided to have the stock removed. Simple as that.
Re: KRISS Vector in Movies
Just saw that resident evil movie again last night and at one point light coming through a window was at her side. You could clearly see that a prop man had pulled the stock hinge pin and either removed the stub or the stock depending on the model they started with.

Re: KRISS Vector in Movies
Watched Robocop last night. There is a scene where you clearly see a KRISS Vector.
Robocop takes on the weapon crime boss. He gets his lackey's to get ready for Robocop's arrival.
The boss turns the lights off and uses thermal goggles. He looks over to his cohort who shoulders a Kriss Vector SMG.
