FS Cheap Vector CRB - NOT MINE - Just a HEADS UP (SOLD?)

I posted a thread regarding info on the Kriss and that zbill guy stated that he had a friend that was selling his Kriss in that thread. For some reason, the Sig mods didn't like that and locked the thread. Then, they told zbill to post in the classified section, but didn't realize that the Kriss belonged to a non member. Those Sig mods lock a lot of threads and delete posts. Not sure what harm my posts have, but it's their sight...

Holy smokes, I'm not having a good day. The deal on this Kriss fell through and the Kriss I had on hold has been sold to someone else. I now have to wait until my dealer gets more Kriss...

Stupid FFL. It is the responsibility of the receiving FFL to accept it. No matter what condition it is in. If your FFL will accept it, they have nothing to worry about. I had the same issue with the seller of my Kel-Tec Shotgun. They refused to ship to NY. So I had it shipped to PA and drove to pick it up.

I've had rifle sent from other states before. Not sure why other state's ffl's are so scared of California.

Because they are stupid.

Part of it is just the hassle that California has instituted. An FFL from out of state can not just simply put the gear in a box and ship it to a California FFL. Check out this FAQ for the "California Firearms Licensee Check (CFLC) Program"... especially 5 and 7.

So, in this particular case, the seller in Florida could use FedEx (or UPS) and ship it directly to the California FFL (assuming he takes shipments from private individuals)... per FAQ #2... and skip at least one hurdle.

How a California buyer handles the "non-compliant-as-shipped" CRB (folding stock, hi-caps, mag release) is another issue. With any luck, that receiving FFL might sort out the folding stock and bullet button modifications before completing the transfer to the buyer in California. Magazines... well, if you can't get them into California, have the seller hold 'em until you can find a buyer for them.... or maybe have the seller reduce the price of the package and have him sell them separate. Heck, have the magazines for sale here if you like.

If you don't mind driving a couple of hours...go to Riflegear, they have them in stock. I got mine there through FFL transfer, great shop to deal with!
