picatinny side rail
Hi huffmaj3,
I put side rails on mine but I had to modify. When I got them, they were inexpensive and made out of
a resin material, cost me about $13.00 and it had 3 different length rails in the package. The two short
ones would not line up, but the long one had a fixed hole and a slotted hole.
This matched my configuration, so I shorten the rail where the holes lined up and stayed within the
length of the housing.
Here's my picture: They're from my Another Brass Catcher entry
Hope this helps you, just check around and see if you can find them. If not, I can try and see what brand
it was that I purchased and let you know.

I like walk a different path and do things my way. Besides, I don't conform well and I'm real cheap.

Got it.. curious why KRISS put a rail option on the left side of the gun, but then goes out of their way to say only mount one on the right??? I assume you can still at least put a rail on the left to fill in the holes???

Re: Kriss side rails
Maybe they thought they could utilize the left side mounting and realized that mounting something there would interfere with the cocking mechanism. Cheaper to leave it than modify and have to retool for the lower housing.
Just put (2) short 3mm X 4mm button head screws there and your holes are sealed and nothing to interfere with when cocking the gun.
There mission accomplished.

Re: Kriss side rails
Found them at the local hardware store here, M4(4mm dia.), don't know what the length was but it was the shortest they had, about 1/4 inch long, don't know metric speak on the tray they had there, 23cents a piece. I also ordered the 2 rail pack from Amazon for the side rail little over $20. Mounting holes on firearm are raised so I will still will be able to sneak the cable from my light underneath it. I honestly don't know what I'm going to put on the rail yet, laser? Seems like overkill after the iron sights, Eotech and flashlight.RubbaDubbaBubba wrote:Maybe they thought they could utilize the left side mounting and realized that mounting something there would interfere with the cocking mechanism. Rail from Amazon fits perfect, it is a metal rail, came in a 2 pack if anyone is interested in the other rail it comes with the screws and standoff spacers, flashlight cable fits underneath perfectly, I will send it to you if you want to split the cost with me ($10).
