lots of loading problems today...

Took the kriss out and only got through 50 rounds before I got frustrated. The mags wont stay in when loading them unless I lock the bolt back. Also whenever it was time for a new mag (after the last round) I wouls slap a new mag in and the bolt wont close all the way (round wasnt all the way in the chamber) this happened a lot. And now I am getting a lot of failure to ejects. And just straight jams. I am running PMC bronze. Running it wet with genuibe kriss mags. Any advice??

Download to one less round. Never load mag on closed bolt. It's what I do.

Load 12 rounds in the 13-round mag. ;)

I have the "30" round mags. I test-loaded all of them to max-capacity using the loader, and only got 27 in each. When firing, I load them to 25 rounds and they ran perfectly. 25 is also half a box of ammo, so that works out well for me. I did insert the mags on an open bolt each time as well. This is with only 100 rounds, though... I need to go shoot more.

Yeah, it is not the most ideal setup. But if you run the gun with that mindset and practice, it will ALWAYS work. Compare that to the Russian roulette of ramming a full mag in the gun. You never know 100% of the time that the mag seated properly. This then causes more down time of the gun. Best to just make sure every time you reload a mag, that you make sure the bolt is open and if not, rip that charging handle back and lock it back. Then insert fresh mag.

okay, I will just get used to running it like that. i am tearing it down to get some parts cerakoted.

next thing i need to do is figure out what oil to use that doesn't smoke like crazy for the first 100 shots. lol. any recommendations???

You sure it's the oil and not the ammo?

Im running pmc bronze and the smokibg goes away after about 100 rounds of so. But who knows. What do you run? I cant get a hold of pnw arms
