Xn0r, mee too. Here in NY you can't. But the Carbine has it's advantages over the SBR. It is quieter and cleaner. Also the long barrel allows all the powder to burn so no muzzle flash.

Re: My KRISS SBR wait
Yeah. I love my 17S. It's really fun to shoot, but a bit expensive. Cheapest rounds I found is some surplus @ $0.37/rd. But I can plink human sized steelies at 100 yds w/ iron sights with no effort all day long, even off hand.Switchblade wrote:XoNr, that 17s looks lean and mean! I only have the 16s and like it alot!

Also, suppose to pick up my Kriss tomorrow from the engraver then on to SBR it since I received my Fm 1 stamp about 3 weeks ago. The Osprey will fit my FN .45 too. Nice!! Please post pics of your Vector with the engraving work when you can. Sounds like you got a 2nd piston for that Osprey to double your pleasure.Switchblade wrote:...Got a call from my dealer today 9/10/12 and the form 4 stamp (6mo. and 1 day) has arrived! So, thats done (5mos and 3wks) since pending. Monday I take the Kriss to get it SBR'd (got Fm-1 about 3wks ago) then I'm done for now except waiting for the E.D.M. 50cal to get here and just have fun popping caps!

Re: My KRISS SBR wait
Hi Solscud007 Re: to your question its done except for hacksawing the bbl. LOL! Taking it to the shop tomorrow to SBR it. Engraving done about a week ago for the NFA Trust and got the Fm-1 stamp about three weeks ago. Picked up my Osprey yesterday. My dealer was in on the meeting with NFA branch awhile back and says their working on a plan to do it all electronically and trying to get it down to receiving stamps back in about 2-3weeks!! (depends if Osama steals the election) Oh, by the way my son saw my Kriss shirt do you have any in XXXL? Stay Safe: Rock

Re: My KRISS SBR wait
Sadly, I don't have them in XXXL. I haven't sold out of the ones I have so it is not feasible to order the minimum 24 shirts to make them in XXXL.
Re: My KRISS SBR wait

CatMostFeared or Switchblade do you have any pics of your SBR with the Osprey. Just got a couple on order for our store would love to see your setup.
Re: My KRISS SBR wait
Hello blacklabel, thanks for the msg. I should get the kriss back from being SBR'd in a week or two and I'll try to get some help on posting pics of the kriss w/osprey attached and the engraving per ATF's specs when going thru an NFA Trust. I'm having it SBR'd here locally and he's running several weeks behind. Also, he doesn't have to remove the bbl. to do the job. He made a special jig to hold the kriss while doing the bbl. that way doesn't have to possibly destroy the trunnion. Will try to post pics when I get it back. Take care, and as always shoot well and often! Rock

Re: My KRISS SBR wait
NICE! just as i figured the flash light will clear the Osprey. Is that a modified AFG? LOL your gun gave me wood

Re: My KRISS SBR wait
That would be my modified AFG. That mod was the creation of my genius. But yes a light should clear the osprey if the osprey has the same Heath as the carbine shroud.
Re: My KRISS SBR wait
i went and picked up rem 597 .22lr for my daughter today, he had 45 osprey there, seems pretty nice quality..$850 plus the wait, just couldnt do it, looks great.
