KRISS SMG vs Thompson SMG This wednesday

My friends alerted me to a show on the Outdoor Channel. Sadly I dont get this channel. But Wednesday 8pm, 11:30pm and Thursday 1:30am the 30 min special will air.

First episode was M240B vs. MG-42.

Just watched the show. Kriss rate of fire is to high to sustain reliable feeding from the two piece 30 round magazines. Try it again with only 25 rounds, reduce the cycling rate and let the operator have a little more training time to become familiar with the weapon. IMO, when Mike was trying to clear the rounds and drop the mags, looked like a monkey and a football. Did not consider this a fair evaluation.

Yeah there is a particular method to clearing the Kriss.

I dont have Outdoor channel so I missed the episode. But you need to remove the mag FIRST. Then rack the bolt to extract the round.

If you are trying to clear a FTF, KRISS says to remove mag and rack bolt. Then re-insert mag and chamber new round.

I find it easier to just rack the bolt back and roll the gun to the right so the round falls out of the ejection port. Similar to Magpul Dynamics roll manuever for extracting a round out of a shotgun.
