just seeing at what ranges you have your optics/red dots zeroed in and if you had enough adjustment to get it POA/POI for that range.
I put a Burris FF3 on my CRB and at 25-30 yards POI is about 8" lower than POA with no more adjustment for elevation.
I'm looking at either an Aim Point or Trijicon to replace the FF3 when im back home in May, maybe even an Eotech.

Re: At what range are you zeroed with your Eotech/Red Dot?
I had to make a ton of adjustments to get my Euotech xps2 zeroed in at 25 yards. I definitely thought it would be a closer to zero coming straight out-of-the-box. But I was able to adjust to zero and did not tap out the capabilities of the unit.

are you sure you are adjusting it correctly? When you adjust the reticle you need to rotate in the direction you want POI to move. NOT the reticle. It is backassward.
So if your POI is low, rotate the adjustment knob in the direction that says "UP"
Out of curiosity how are your BUIS? Are they ok? You can use that as a point of reference to move your reticle if they are fine.

I plan on zeroing mine at 50 yards . I have not even taken mine out yet , its dark when I go to work and dark when I get home. Weekends are busy right now but Im hoping that in the next couple weeks that comes to a halt . I ended up with the Primary Arms Aimpoint M3 look alike , I have had really good luck with the rest of their products and they back them no questions asked . Much better quality than the china eotechs styled RDS out there .

I replaced my front sight post with the Trijicon and POI is about 3" lower POA and is low as it will go. The Burris FF3 adjusted fully for elevation, POI is 8" lower than POA.
All this at 25-30 yards.
The Burris FF3 on my Akdal MKA1919 12 gauge is on POA - POI with slugs at the same range.
Might swap the FF3 and see what the results are, as well as removing the riser.

Have u thought about shimming the scope in the mounts? I few shims goes a long way in adjustment

Might have to try and shim it up some, since Burris doesn't seem to sell shims for the FF3 (cant find them, even from burris), which is odd since its advertised for almost every platform.
CMF, is that with the EoTech? How much of the elevation did you have to use to get it POA-POI?
I know there is a guy here running an Aimpoint PRO on his, I wonder how his zeroing is? The PRO or Trijicon RX34 will most likely be what I throw on her next.
Anyone running the Trijicon RX3x? Seen some videos of youtube of guys running them on the CRB and hitting upto about 50 yards.

Here is a cool trajectory calculator and even has some of the .45 rounds already in the library.

Re: At what range are you zeroed with your Eotech/Red Dot?
I plan on zeroing at 50 but looking at my ballistics charts 75 yards would be more adequate to keep 0-100 yards drops closer.
Keep in mind this will be with a standard pistol barrel so velocities will be up a bit in a 16" barrel making these numbers a little closer together
zeroed at 50

Thats pretty cool! What app is that?
It's about +7-9% FPS with the 16" barrel. Dont forget to take into account your sight height.
Here is a cool chart that actually has the KRISS CRB with some FPS for rounds most likely none of us use, but good for benchmarking and comparison.
Ballistics by the Inch
Federal lists the 230gr Hydra-Shok at 900FPS, that chart puts it at 962FPS from the 16" KRISS, and is the slowest of the 4 16" barrels listed.

Stalker- Good Link! I've looked up other loads on there as well, for example a 9mm. round for my Kahr CM9 vs. my Beretta Storm Carbine.
I don't suppose Kriss will ever offer an 8" or 10" bbl. for the SDP or SBR's?

I zeroed my EOTech EXPS3-4 at about 20 yds. Was able to hit at 100 yd range with it with less hold over than I thought I would.

Re: At what range are you zeroed with your Eotech/Red Dot?
So I purchased an eotech 512 and went to the range yesterday to sight it in. I read on another thread that the xps2 and 3 had to be adjusted to the max top setting for the KRISS. The 512 model is the same. Got it zeroed at 35 yards. The eotech is alot more fun to shoot through than the BUIS!
