Re: KRISS Baggage
Coming soon. I'm working on a project with a local KRISS fan. Hopefully we will have something awesome to show you.

Re: KRISS Baggage
Has anyone found a good case that will hold a folded Kriss Vector CRB with an optic? Most of the cases I've found aren't thick enough to work when the gun is folded. It looks like Kriss used to make one (ACCSF0800101) but they must have stopped.

Re: KRISS Baggage
I prefer hard but soft would be ok too. I'm more interested in it being thick enough to hold a folded Kriss Vector but not really long like most of the cases.
I think I'm going to give this case a try http://amzn.com/B001WJ6O9E

Re: KRISS Baggage
Pretty much any 32 inch case would work I think. Soft is a bit easier as it has room to give. I have not tried my KRISS but my SCAR 17 fits in this with the stock removed/folded.

A bit pricey. i honestly would not pay that much for this particular case. I won it.
Anyway it fits perfectly inside my hard case if I remove the foam in the bottom. I can fit the whole soft case inside my hard case.

It looks to me like that one would be too thin.RealDeal wrote:I think I'm going to give this case a try http://amzn.com/B001WJ6O9E

Re: KRISS Baggage
I bought the Kriss Pelican Storm Case. I was hesitant in the beginning due to the price, however, I have often found my first instinct was the correct path. Instead of settling, I bit the bullet and I am glad I did. I modified it slightly for the mods I did to the Vector and expanded a cutout for my Sig Sauer P226 Tacops. Here is a crappy cell phone shot of it.....

Nice place for the AFG. I am such a trend setter for KRISS modifications haha.
That vertical grip seems superfluous now haha.
Ken we need to get together and compare KRISS vectors. Also I would like to check out your Storm case. I noticed you have the Type 2 shroud. It seems it is full length? If you look at pics of mine. They are short and some of the barrel pokes out.

Here's my set-up. A pelican case from Craigslist and new foam. Put it at this angle to get a little more foam coverage at the tip of the barrel.

Pelican 1700. It's a tight fit so I glued the foam in so it won't pull out when I remove the gun.

Re: KRISS Baggage
I would look for closed cell polyethylene foam. It is the stuff in the KRISS USA case that KPV996TT has and what I used in my DIY case. It doesnt absorb water like the open cell stuff pelican gives you.
Ares Armor LPA bag
This bag from Ares Armor is really nice! The Kriss CRB fits in perfect with stock folded and the Strike Fire Red Dot I ordered for it might even fit under the top cover too once mounted (not 100% on that just yet). Tons of room for at least to long guns and several pistols. Outer compartments have tons of mag hold downs.

I like that, it's cool that you put the mags in to top half of the case.
Good job!
