magpul ms3 sling

This is kind of funny. So I go to ebay and decide I'm going to order up one of these magpul slings under the understanding that they are china clones. I already have other slings so didnt care. for 10 dollars I just wanted to compare. I'm in ontario canada. It arrived in 3 days. The packaging is identical to other genuine magpul things I have bought or at least I believe are genuine. It says revitaling american manufacturing and designed in colorado and made in usa. Along with all the other patent pending address email addy blah blah. Man they clone everything.

So... how's the sling?

They are all over ebay, just look for one that is priced too low. Or some priced just a little lower to make it seem you are getting a deal. I think most magpul on ebay is fake. Keep in mind, they are made with less than standard materials. Take for instance the sights, they substitute the metal hardware with plastic. I'm sure the metal hardware will not stand up to the same strength rating as a real one, then stuff strips out as you tighten it. To me I wouldn't risk my 2000$ rifle with junk like that. For an extra $30 you can get the real thing and support a company that is fighting for 2A and U.S. jobs.

I have gotten knockoff slings before and they worked great.
