Simple Brass Catcher Empty Simple Brass Catcher

Post by Oleschoole Fri Nov 01, 2013 4:24 pm

This is a simple no mod brass catcher that can be installed in two minutes. I looked all over the place for a brass catcher for my Kriss. The only info I found was on this forum. The other two brass catchers are nice but I didn't want to modify any thing on the gun. Well I found a stock brass catcher that works great. Caldwell makes a brass catcher that uses a picatinny rail mount to hold the bag. MidwayUSA sells it just under $40 http://ads.midwayusa.com/product/779085/caldwell-brass-catcher-ar-15-picatinny-rail-mount-nylon-mesh-black. Here's some pictures that shows how it looks:

Side view. It looks a little large but it doesn't get in the way.

Notice the mount on the picatinny rail near the front sight.

$40 bucks and two minutes.

Thanks for this; didn't know a picatinny rail mount version was available. Just picked one up. My cousin reloads and this makes it really easy to save my brass for him.

Thanks for the post! I think I'll get 2!  Smile

Okay, only bought one. But that's because they had a good price on some bullets for my 6.8, so I ordered 3 boxes of those, too!  cheers
