Gen 2 Internal Light Mod

Just picked up a Gen 2 recently and I'm a big proponent for WMLs. Unfortunately the gen two lacks the mounting kit for the surefire kit. The surefire lacks lumens as well so it's not a bummer because I was planning on making a retrofit Streamlight option with the ProTac Railmount 1L/2L. Before I decided to hack after looking for nonexistent threads I figured I should make a post asking Gen 2ers about internal light mount one offs.

Anyone care to share their experiences?

No experience, but the Gen II still has a separate piece for nose cap. I2 in the diagrams. Maybe you can buy an extra one or two to modify.

I am just going to run a Arisaka defense 300 scout on the side. I have on of the MLOK adapter from MidWest industries, and I am about to order a Arisaka 45 degree offset. Going to use the pressuen switch and velcro it by the wagwell.
