Slower burning powder: Reloading .45ACP
I'm a new owner of the KRISS CRB (Canadian 18.6" barrel).
I use to reload quite a bit a few years ago, so I find myself catching up on all the latest in this (rather specialized) hobby. Most of my prior reloading experience was with the Glock 21, which has a considerably shorter barrel.
I'm curious if any one has any information (or direction to point me too) on slower burning powders, specifically to optimize higher velocities that the longer barrel can provide, accuracy and bullet weights (mass). As it stands now, from what I can find, there's very little info out there on this particular application.
Thanks
~M

Hello and welcome to the forum!
While I don't have a direct answer for the powders part of your question, (this was the closest I came up with: http://forums.outdoorsdirectory.com/showthread.php/110185-slower-burning-powders-for-pistols-rounds-in-rifle), I thought it worth mentioning that if you are a new owner then you may want to reconsider using reloads in your Vector.
Speaking of warranty, be sure to register your Vector to get a second year of warranty coverage added on at no additional cost.

Hi, and... oh wow- thanks for the heads up. Had no knowledge regarding the warranty clause about reloads. Definitely good to know!
Appreciate the link too: which now is for educational purposes only.
As for the registry - i registered the day after delivery

Very welcome! If you didn't happen to do that at the "new" website, give this thread a look:pureporsche wrote:As for the registry - i registered the day after delivery

You can "reset the clock" on your 2nd year of warranty a bit.
