Who has the least expensive, good quality, bulk .45ACP Ammo?

Good evening all!
I was looking to make a bulk .45 ACP purchase (I'm running low) and I wanted to see if any of you have had a good experience with any particular ammo company? I'm able to get Federal .45 FMJ 230Gr at Wal-Mart for 39 cents a round with tax which is pretty freaking good for name brand brass. However, I was looking to buy in a bit of a bulk (500-2000rds) this time and didn't know if anyone has found better deals elsewhere? Any ideas are always appreciated!

I've been watching slickguns.com and found a pretty good deal through sportsmansguide.com. I got 500 rounds of .45 ACP PMC Bronze FMJ for $175 shipped after coupons.

oh wow, Ok 35 cents isn't bad at all. The PMC Bronze is basically the same as the Federal. I'll check it out.

I've run 1000's of their 45 and 9 and it's good stuff. it's reloaded.
1000 of .45 is $289 plus shipping.
They also sell new ammo.

I bought 1000 rds of Jack Ross reloads for about $0.32/rd which is pretty cheap. So far not one issue in my Vector or 1911.

Walmart has 100 Rounds of Federal for $29.95
I picked up 4 boxes last week most stores only get
5 boxes at a time

I picked up two boxes from Dick's sporting goods on Black Friday. It was $65 for a box of 150 rds. So I got 300 rds for about $90. I forget the brand. Some no name brand FMJ 230 gr.

Just paid 50.00 for 100 rounds of federal target rounds at Dicks Sporting Goods. .50 a round not terrible these days. 60 rounds with no jams at the range today.

The federal target stuff has worked well for me. Ran 100 of those with no problems.

I have been scavenging every Walmart in a 50 mile radius and have been able to get a few 100rd boxes of ammo. also have family on the other side of hte sate looking for it for me also. just wish i could find some HP ammo
