Flashlight Adapter disappointment

Okay I'm starting to have my doubts about Kriss. If your going to be the company that supplies a flashlight adapter and it requires a certain bit to tighten the screw mount. The least u could do is supply a tool for it. Also some kind of info or instructions would have Helped. He'll maybe even a sticker or something would be nice for the kind of money people are investing in your company with our purchases...

What material is the flashlight adapter ? ...
I ordered a set of the flashlight and the adapter only for two reasons ...

thanks i'll use it since it was $57.80 with a flashlight and adapter and momentary switch .
Kriss offers the adapter without information plus a high ship price
I guess the Kriss adapter is not aluminum ?
What is the inner diameter of the adapter ?

Yes, I heard recently that the Vectors no longer come with the wrenches (or small cleaning kit)... which is unfortunate. Here's an old post, but it does have the E1B kit instruction sheet.

Not plastic or aluminum. The light holder is milled from a block of Delryn Nylon. It was an excellent choice of materials for this application. The nylon provides a tight press fit into the upper and the color runs through out so if you scratch it there is no bare aluminum showing. Much cheaper to produce and doesn't need to be anodized. It will stand up to the moderate heat generated from the barrel and will not expand or contract.

Installation is pretty straight forward but you will need a 1.5mm Allen wrench. Seperate the upper and lower receivers. Back the screw out on top and front of the upper picatinny rail on the upper receiver. Not all the way but enough to pull the light socket cover/plug out. Press fit the light holder in the hole left by the cover making sure the set screw in the holder is in line with the set screw in the pic rail. Start to insert your light tape switch first and feed the switch through either the right or left slot making sure the flat section of the light where the pocket clip used to be is lined up with the set screw. Tighten the light set screw but do not use lock tight on this screw as the threads in the nylon will hold just fine on its own. Tighten down the set screw that runs through the aluminum pic rail. This screw can be lock titled.

DONE. The whole job should take ten minutes or so.
